An incredibly versatile distribution
Initially designed by EBRA for field crop seeders, the mechanical distribution with inclined disc is simple (just a disc to change from one crop to another), precise (seed to seed at 80% in carrots calibre 1.6 - 1.8) and incredibly versatile: from very small seeds (parsley, carrots...) to beans, large beans and even small bulblets, bare or coated seeds. Thus it is ideal for market gardening, by its precision and its versatility.

A compact seeder
The MS 23 has been specially designed for sowing on finely prepared soils, when you have limited space (e.g. under tunnels), or when you want to sow with a reduced inter-row spacing. And, of course, it retains all the major advantages of EBRA seed drills: versatility, crop changeover in just a few minutes, ease of use and precision... Each unit has a single wheel and a short body, making it the most compact of the EBRA mounted seed drills, and still offering excellent value for money.

For small spaces or narrow inter-rows
The MS 23 is available from 1 to 6 rows on a single-beam chassis (all the elements are in a single row), and from 2 to 11 rows on a double-row chassis. Mounted on a double-row frame with staggered units, it allows a row spacing of 13 cm (5 in) !
Its compact size makes it ideal for use in small spaces: tunnels, greenhouses, etc. It can also be mounted between the axles of a tool carrier, on a rototiller, a micro-tractor or a tillage machine (combined seeding).

Independent sowing units
Each sowing unit has its own inclined aluminium distributor disc, driven by the rear wheel. Elements - for multi-row set-ups - are independent of each other, allowing you to sow different crops from one row to the next in a single pass, if you wish. Each element is attached to the frame by a simple flange: this makes it very easy to adjust the number of rows and the spacing between rows.

It follows perfectly the seedbed
The sowing units of the MS 23 are supported on their own wheel. Seed drill follows the unevenness of the soil perfectly. A seeding unit can be removed or moved very easily by unscrewing only two nuts. This makes it possible to change the inter-row width or to switch from bed seeding to ridge seeding.

- Minimum spacing of sowing units : 23 cm (9 in) . Maximal gap depends on the width of the tracting beam and number of rows.
- Use for a wide range of seeds, from very small (carrots, parsley...) to very large ones (large beans, broad beans...)
- Seeding capacity : approx. 1000 m² (1200 yd²) per hour per row (for an inter-row spacing of 30 cm - 12 in) . For example : 1 seeder with 4 units (spacing 30 cm - 12 in) sows 1 ha (2,5 acres) every 3 hours.
- Recommended forward speed : from 3 to 4,5 kmph (2 to 3 mph) depending on the seed. Except for large seeds : 1 kmph (0,6 mph)
