Seeders for all seeds, for tough conditions

An incredibly versatile distribution

Initially designed by EBRA for field crops, the inclined disc mechanical distribution system is simple (just one disc to change from one crop to another), precise (80% seed to seed in carrots 1.6 - 1.8 caliber) and incredibly versatile: from very small seeds (parsley, carrots, etc.) to broad beans and even small bulblets. So it's ideal for market gardening, but also for sowing a wide range of seeds in the field (corn, rapeseed, sunflower, okra, peanuts, sorghum, millet, etc.).

Seeders for all seeds, for tough conditions

Built for tough conditions

With its thick steel frame, toothed drive wheels and sword-shape coulters with large clearance for all types of soil, the SU 201 is designed for fairly rough terrain. The seed is conveyed through a chute to the sowing coulter, where it is placed in the soil before being compacted by the rear wheel and then covered with soil by the adjustable scrappers.

Independent sowing units

The SU 201 is an independently controlled seeder: each seeding unit is driven by its rear wheel, which makes it very easy to change the number of rows and the spacing between rows. You can even sow different crops at different spacings from row to row. Each seeding unit can be removed or moved by unscrewing only 2 nuts, which makes the SU 201 particularly versatile.

  • Precision seed drill with mechanical distribution by inclined distributor disc
  • From 1 to 8 sowing units, with their own driving system and body
  • For a wide variety of seeds, from very small ones (carrots, parsley...) to very large ones (large beans, broad beans...)
  • Seeding capacity : approx. 1000 m² (1200 yd²) per hour for an inter-row spcing of 30 cm (12 in) . For example : 1 seeder with 4 rows, inter-row spacing of 30 cm (12 in) , sows 1 ha (2,5 acres) every 3 hours.
  • Recommended forward speed : 3 to 4,5 kmph (2 to 3 mph) , except for large seeds (1 kmph - 0,6 mph)
  • Aluminium hopper 5 liters with instantaneous emptying system
  • Distribution units with cast-iron bodies, aluminium discs (except some special ones, made of synthetic material)
  • Driving : by bevel gears, from the wheel of unit
  • Density adjustment via a set of interchangeable sprockets
  • Adjustment of the inter-row spacing by sliding the sowing units
  • Descent of the seeds by gravity through an inclined tube
  • Embedding the seeds by a sword-shape coulter, in profiled steel
  • Seeding depth adjusted by a sliding coulter, with screw handle on Expert model
