Initially designed by EBRA for field crop seeders, the mechanical distribution with inclined disc is simple (just a disc to change from one crop to another), precise (seed to seed at 80% in carrots calibre 1.6 - 1.8) and incredibly versatile: from very small seeds (parsley, carrots...) to beans, large beans and even small bulblets, bare or coated seeds. Thus it is ideal for market gardening, by its precision and its versatility.

Independent sowing units
The ideal, well-balanced weight of the MS 21 sowing unit ensures optimum embedding of seeds, without the unit sinking too deeply into the soil. The distributor disc is driven by the front wheel of each sowing unit. This means that the elements are independent of each other, making it easy to adjust the number of rows or the inter-row spacing, and even to sow different crops at different densities from one row to the next, in a single pass.

It follows perfectly the seedbed
The sowing units of the MS 21 are each mounted on 2 wheels. The open front wheel prepares the seedbed optimally and drives the distributor block. This means that each sowing unit follows the unevenness of the ground. A sowing unit can be removed or moved very easily by unscrewing only two nuts. It allows, for example, to change the inter-row width, to change from bed sowing to ridge sowing.

- Precision seed drill with mechanical distribution by inclined distributor disc

- Minimum spacing of sowing units : 23 cm (9 in) . Maximal gap depends on the width of the tracting beam and number of rows.
- Use for a wide range of seeds, from very small (carrots, parsley...) to very large ones (large beans, broad beans...)
- Seeding capacity : approx. 1000 m² (1200 yd²) per hour per row (with 30 cm - 12 in between rows) . For example : 1 seeder with 4 rows (spacing 30 cm - 12 in) sows 1 ha (7.5 acres) every 3 hours.
- Recommended forward speed : from 3 to 4,5 kmph (2 to 3 mph) depending on the seeds (except for largest ones : 1 kmph - 0,6 mph)
